Okay. It’s been a few days, so time for me to weigh in, here. There seems to be a lot of polarization with Pro-2A supporters, Gun Control supporters, and everybody’s favorite kicking bags: politicians. Let’s see if we can muddle through some of this.

By now, I’m sure you’ve heard about the case where Charleston PD’s Officer Michael T. Slager shot and killed 50-year-old Walter Scott. His call to dispatch said that Scott had taken the taser and the officer felt in fear for his life.

I’m of mixed feelings on this new development. Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl spent five years as a captive by the Taliban, and released this past May in a deal that many of the public – and a good portion of lawmakers – claim was illegal. Five Taliban prisoners were exchanged for one American – I don’t argue that on principle, but why wait for so long, and for one who was accused of deserting his post?
