So many would still call me a newbie in terms of shooting. I can shoot my PPQ with nearly pinpoint accuracy, but I couldn’t necessarily put five round in an 5″ circle at 5 yards in five seconds. My second shot would always be super low and left as I slapped the trigger and overcompensated for recoil. But I have a habit of watching a ton of videos, taking courses, and the like. Earlier this afternoon, an apparent lone gunman gained access to the building at 1536 Wynkoop in Downtown Denver and began shooting. Right now, I don’t have his name (nor would I publish it here, if I did),

So, being a firearm owner and shooter myself (the two terms are not interchangeable), the news that the ATF was attempting to ban the popular M855 ammo came as seriously concerning.
For those not in the know, the M855 ammo is the “green-tip” ammo that is basically military surplus ammo shot through the M16/M4 platforms. It’s a commonly purchased round for civilian shooters to use in their AR15 rifles, due to its low relative cost. But the ATF sought to change the availability of this ammo.
